How do i find out which my computer is.

What OS?
uname -a for Linux
Windows usually right click My Computer and Properties.0 -
- left click windows start menu button
- left click my computer
- then right click anywhere on the white areas under where it shows your hard drive & cd etc
- left click on the bottom line called properties, all your info is there !

got that, thanks to you both. 32 bit. I was trying to download skype and it says incompatable with 32 bit. Didn't have a clue what that was. Hate not knowing what i'm trying to do. lol0

Just checked the Skype download page and the Windows version requires:
'PC running Windows® 2000, XP, Vista or 7. (Windows 2000 users require DirectX 9.0 for video calls).
No distinction for 32 or 64 bit versions of Windows that I can see.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
