mounting TV above radiator.

I'm Planning to put a mantel between the two for obvious reasons.
The radiator has to be a 600mm high one for heat output, and can't be wider as it is along an alcove that we are planning to put an electric stove heater in the corner (for effect). How far above the radiator would you recommend having the mantel? I would want to keep the TV as low as possible, with enough room on the mantel for birthday cards etc.
