Which credit card is best?

I don't use a credit card at all but i want to be able to hire a car and they only let you do this if you have a credit card. Does anyone know which card would be best to get? I have a poor credit rating from a long time ago but have not had any credit for about 7 years.
Thanks for your help.

They're all pretty much the same. I would go for the one with the nicest picture on it.
But failing that approach, you need to speak to your own bank or a sub prime provider.0 -
Have a look at the Capital One Classic card, it is designed for re-building credit

What hire car company? Most will let you use a debit card as well.0
