Rainbow chard-seed saving help please
I saved 2 pots of rainbow chard[and a lovely red oseille] from Gamme Vert last year and brought them back. They've bolted.
2 ?s please:
When and how do I save this seed? [I thought to 'sweep' it from the stems when dry]
When should I re-sow it?
Thankyou for any help.

Just a thought:
Seed from chard will cross pollinate with beetroot/sugar beet over a distance of up to a mile, so you may not sow what you intend to reap!

Still need advice on this, so am bumping it and adding another?
I did not use all my leeks last year. They've overwintered and are now in bloom, much buzzed by bees.
Can I save seed from them? When?/How?

Seed saving help.
http://www.realseeds.co.uk/seedsavinginfo.html
You can buy rainbow chard virtually everywhere and really not worth saving unless you really want to. You can sow them now, or in spring.
There is loads of info on the web about saving leek seeds. Check they are not F1 and just save the seed when it flowers basically I think, never done it tbh.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
