I'm sure someone here will be an expert in M&S sale procedure, I ordered quite early last night for nominated delivery day and in account majority of items have "items to be despatched soon" status does this mean I am quite likely to get these ? as few items have "items not yet despatched" status instead, which I presume means I am unlikely to get these. Any help will be gratefully received.Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0

when it changes to 'item to be dispatched soon', you can be pretty sure you are getting the stuff as the payment will now have been taken and you are unable to amend or cancel your order. That said occassionaly they will still cancel and refund you.
when it shows 'item not yet dispatched' it means they have not yet processed your order, payment has not been taken and you are still able to amend/cancel it.now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it

I popped into the Leeds store first thing this morning (they opened the doors at 9 and I was there) and was really disappointed with what they had out - there was hardly anything on sale, particularly in the lingerie section.
Perhaps they are planning to put out more stock as the day goes on - might pop in after work.
Did an online order last night - wouldn't let me deliver to store though, so now I have to pay the delivery cost. I suppose it's not the end of the world because at least I got the things I wanted!0 -
You may want to try and get one piece of schoolwear and use their free delivery code for schoolwear to get all your items delivered free to your home. The code is on the front page and schoolwear page on M&S site. HTH[/QUOTE]
it doent actually give you free delivery if you order other items with the school wear,it only gives you a percentage off the delivery charge0 -
My local store was disappointing too, it was tidy but it looked more like TKMaxx the way there was one 1 of everything, so it was a case of hunt via size. This was at 9am aswell.Whether we win or lose, that we played at all was a winning decision.
2011 wins £12,2922012 wins ...Thank you to all who post on here!!!! :A0 -
Just came back from the Bristol store (Broadmead) and they had plenty of stuff on the racks, not much in my size unfortunately. I got some cargo trousers reduced from £12 to £5 and a full price top, but for some reason the trousers didn't scan so I got them for free!0

What a load of rubbish! Recession is hitting M&S clearly! Never seen so little and such rubbish in Coventry city Centre store this am. It didn't even open until 9a.m!
Waste of a trip to town, got more in poundland before M & S opened.
The most overhyped sale of the season by far!
