Incorrect Feedback - assistance please

I am absolutely devastated. I have just logged on and have been left negative feedback. It says that they received a letter with 2 stamps and no free magazine as advertised. The reality is the item they purchased had a free magazine advertised on Buy It Now and this was clearly stated in my listing description, the item went to auction so the winner was not eligible to receive the mag. The 14 single items which were in the auction were sent in the 'letter' as they call it. I have put a response pointing out the above but feel so angry I have emailed the buyer and re iterated what I have said above etc and that as a relatively new ebay member (9 feedback) they have a lot to learn about the etiquette of the ebay community.
Is there anything else I can do to 'right' this wrongdoing.

Deep breaths........................

  • You could reply to the feedback that they left you stating the above.

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.
  • Its a sad state of affairs i know, but i have just started selling a number of items after a few months out and i REFUSE to leave feedback before the buyer has. Now this may sound harsh but my feedback is tarnished by a stupid non-payer 18 months ago and even one negative makes my relatively low (228) score look like i am a dodgy seller, (reffering to percentages) even though i am very much a person who does everything on there by the book.

I know how you feel, providing a service and getting punished for it. Unfortunatley there isnt anything you can do.

Personally... neg them saying something like 'Ebayer not very good at reading listings and then leaves negs' or something like that.

see if that gets a response, if it does OR about a week later if it doesn't then send them a 'mutually withdraw feedback' offer and hopefully they will bite.
