DS Games reset

I know that there is a way to reset the game cartridges so that i can clear the games but i cannot remember what all to press. I have bought a pre owned game and to play it from the beginning I need to reset it. Any ideas?

i am not aware of a way to reset a DS game card..? I thought you just erased the save files to start from the begining again.

Actually scrb that, try this

start up the DS,then pick the game from the initial DS start up screen,when the Nintendo logo appears,quickly press,and hold X, Y, A, B, L, and R buttons,at the same time.
then you will get a pop-up window,which will ask if you want to delete the data

That was what i was looking for. now just need several hands to mange to press the buttons.
