Bees being attacked?

Hi there

I have found 3 bumblebees in my garden today crawling on the ground, 2 had tiny stumps for wings and the third had a bent wing.

One had masses of tiny things on it's back just above it's waist.... could have been eggs? didn't look at the others..

Does anyone know what has done this? I'm feeling quite protective toward my bees right now and want to wipe out the baddies!!!

    I think they can get attacked by things like wasps. Also dragonflys . Can you post a photo

    Almost certainly mites.
    If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
