I'm not the one jumping to conclusions.. a swollen pair of feet does not mean I am going to die.. maybe I didn't expect such drama queening!

I'll be back Sunday with the new thread then.. I am pee'd off enough without anything else.
She said Sunday - she means Sunday :(

Not sure why she hadn't realised that the regulars on this thread worry about each other.

Blimey it has been unbelievably quiet on here today!

Still a few bits to pack in the caravan but not far off now. Got a couple of things to iron and fridge to clear in the morning, lists being ticked off left, right and centre :D

Trusting everyone is well, if I don't get back on then we will see you in a couple of weeks.
Hope you all have a fantastic holiday x

Ok so nothing done this morning yet as only just woke up - must be the after affects of the 1st week back from holiday!

Sun is shining so need to take our French student out today while we have the chance so doubt much flying will be done (again!).

Hope you all have a good day

    Morning all

Good time vibes to all travelling flyladies, welcomes to newcomers and hugs to all poorlies.
    I'm on holiday! :j
We had the customary end-of-term with leaving speeches and a trip to the pub (collected DSs first, as DH works until 7pm on Fridays). Also customarily, DH is now sulking because we were thinking about having tea at the pub, stayed until almost 7pm and then called for a take-away pizza instead. And I didn't even talk to him about it first. His main worry is that I may have been talking to men. I wish he'd finally recognise that life is too short for stupid stuff like that, but I don't hold out much hope. It's our 17th wedding anniv in August and sometimes I think I may as well do what he thinks I'm doing anyway. Didn't do anything last night apart from eating pizza, sleeping and reading my book.
So far this morning I've decluttered 2 cuppas, caught up with fred for a bit and emptied/re-loaded DW. Plans for today: a long line of HHCs. I want to work like mad in the house this weekend, as DS2 is still at school next week and I'm going to use the free childcare to sort the mess in my class/storeroom. :A
    See you all later. x

    Morning all

My mum called up last night with pressies for DS2, then BIL turned up. House was very busy.:rotfl:

PIL head away today for their holiday in Scotland so we're farming again.:D

    Best get everyone fed.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

:obefore I even start apologies - I am specless atm

Aww, glad you got the kitten Valli. If you are insuring him, Sainsburys have £70 cashback on Quidco at the moment. That's where i insured Newton. £8.43 a month, interest free too. Works out at about £35 for the year after cashback.
thanks for the heads up on that; am planning to and intend to use quidco to insure her. am also going to see ig cats protection have any spay offers on; I won't feel guilty getting it cheap because I'm already on WFTC and CTC. Our 'old' cat seems to be coping ok. I have fed them both at the same time in adjacent bowls (old cat got tinned salmon as a sweetener). She's a lil basement cat with a couple of dabs of white! She's my first non-tabby too. (Check link for explanation of basement cat;))

Have you tried doing it to him??

I am like this with DH and I drive myself demented with it. When he does it back, it really really annoys me, though and helps I think.

    Sitting room DONE
Stairs, hall and porch DONE :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Also two loads of washing. Have batty family coming for afternoon tea. Kitchen to do. Also finally got mirror for sitting room, 1/4 cost of original one I ordered so thought I'd get one for the dining room too. Was hoping that the saleswoman would do a number on Dh and get him to buy a little dark wood one I was admiring, but no dice.
