Hello all.
Divorcingjack and London Welshcake (hey..... another LW!!)just because you have no children, you don't get away with not doing any Flying y'know.... I don't have children either, btw (unless you count the 60 yr old one I'm married to).
Laters, all.:)
LOL! I thought I'd get into trouble - fret not, I have a few things on my list to do, it's just not as daunting as a child's room (especially not what my room was like when I was 7 )
Heading home to put on WM, eat food, do my flying list then head out to meet friends. I've challenged myself to be efficient enough (wash dishes up BEFORE go out to get "merry") so that my kitchen is STILL sparkly in the morning. That will then be a whole week of downstairs looking good. That is my goal...
Here's to the weekend!Proud to be dealing with my debt0 -
I need to come back - the house is a mess and I miss you all but I cant keep up ......................HeeeeeelpMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0

Right, end of first week - what's the state of play?
Kitchen - still pretty darn good. DH has yet to clear away the crumbs left when he made his lunchtime sarnie but otherwise ok.
Living room ditto. (no crumbs though!)
Our bedroom. Great. Inspired to look for a new wardrobe as the current one is falling apart.
Bathroom. Well, it's clean. Most of the wallpaper has been pulled off. I will get the steamer out tomorrow. There is a panel of newly painted wall where I tried out the new colour.
DD's bedroom. After months of threats and bribes and mutterings about Mum tidying it up with a bin bag, DD is grateful that it has been done. She is starting to notice that she has a lot less stuff than was in the room when she trotted happily off to school this morning so I may have an evening down the pub on my own later and leave her Dad to cheer her up!:p"A thousand candles can be lit from a single candle without shortening the life of that candle."
I still am Puddleglum - phew!0 -
