Sorry, he's a bit big, almost life size in fact:rotfl:

He's been resized now. DD is over the moon with him, she is tiring him out now.

  • gunsandbanjos how gorgeous!!

Kitchen still sparkling so am off to work and will tackle my list when I get home. I really do hope it rains today as I can't handle these hot evenings (just don't sleep) and the humid days.

    Happy flying

GnB - he is just lovely, obviously bright and perky too. Very envious! Everything crossed for no allergy problems.

Soappie - ouch, sounds grim. I hope you heal quickly. The chicks sound lovely. My DH stubbed his toe on one of his tools the other day which left him with a cut on his big toe. He went outside in flip flops and one of the hens pecked it - they really will eat anything.

Yesterday I picked lots of new pots, the first courgette, and three onions that the chickens have pulled out. We also found some bilberries when we went for a walk so I need to try and get out today to see if there are any on our local spot too, and perhapd head up into the Derbyshire moors at the weekend. We also found a couple of burdoch plants so want to try the river cottage dandlelion and burdoch so need to go back with a spade. There is nothing like impending financial crisis to focus your attention!

I need to stay local today though so I want to crack on with the play room deep clean. In a few weeks my sister and her DF are house sitting so I am trying to do some sort of deep clean and de-clutter everywhere. I may need to inspire myself with photos - I think you dont see mess anymore when you look at it everyday.

Fingers crossed too Hex! Doc told us it wasnt the animal DD had an issue with, it was the sawdust and hay. So none of those issues with Newton hopefully.

Sorry Soappie, meant to say hope you are ok, sounds painful!

    Morning ladies

Managed a lie in till 8am which is good for me. The bins have been put out and breakfast eaten.

My bedroom today which isnt that bad and shouldnt take me long to do.

Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1

    Check smoke alarms are working
Remove bed linen and replace with fresh linen
    Declutter the floordrobe
    Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs.. make sure to do the bed base.. mine was gross
Vacuum mattress before replacing fresh linen
    15 minutes grotspot clearance
    Level 3
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed
Defluff and demuck woodwork... skirtings, window frames, door frames dados, picture rails etc
    Extras
    1. 27 fling boogie time, time for that midweek fling, go grab a bag and clear that clutter
    2. Air the duvet.. fling it over the line for half an hour if you can.. fly away bugs!
    3. Clean windows in these rooms
    4. Binbag dance to go to charity shop! Or just general rehoming!
Im going to try to meal plan for the next 7 days and start using some of the contents from my ever bulging cupboards!!! Im a hoarder when it comes to food and panic if I have less than 8 tins of anything!! My freezer is chocca so need to sort through it and start using it instead of going out to the shop to buy yet even more stuff (I waste sooo much money on buying food that I dont use or need for that matter)

Hope you all have a lovely day

GnB He is lovely bless him.

Soappie ((((((hugs))))))) hope you are feeling better soon.

No flying done yesterday as was feeling carp, so need to get lots done today and all I want to do is sleep:(

Did manage to sit here and order the rest of DD2's school uniform so all I need to get now for her is new shoes which I will get at the end of August. also ordered DS a lunchbox as he will be doing 3 full days of Nursery in september So that Just leaves me with DD1's stuff to get now.

I really need to get some stuff listed on ebay as I seem to have lots of carp lying around here that we do not need.

Right going to declutter this :coffee:and get started.
