    Hi,

    What is the complaint about?
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

For? If it's staff being rude etc that's internal, if Lloyds have broken any of the regulations and rules then your first call would be the ombudsman and eventually the regulating body. etc etc - so without more detail.... how long is a piece of string...

Sorry... I have a DMP with CCCS
& Lloyds have been getting their money since jan
The statements I have been receiving have interest & charges added every month
I have again phoned them only to be told there is no plan in place

CCCS have said to complain due to not being told this earlier as they have rejected the proposals but not informed me
    Thanks

Sorry but this is completely wrong.

The FSA rules describe a complaint and "any oral or written expression of dissatisfaction, whether justified or not, from, or on behalf of, a person about the provision of, or failure to provide, a financial service, which: (a) alleges that the complainant has suffered (or may suffer) financial loss, material distress or material inconvenience; and
    (b) relates to an activity of that respondent, or of any other respondent with whom that respondent has some connection in marketing or providing financial services or products, which comes under the jurisdiction of the Financial Ombudsman Service.

So that means even a member of staff being rude could constitute a complaint if it causes material distress.

It also means that it is covered by the same rules.

Those rules require you to give the firm concerned an opportunity to put things right for themselves = and they are entitled to take up to 8 weeks from when they receive the complaint if they wish. If they need more time they can ask for it but you do not have to give it.

There is, though, no point in going to the regulator because it will not intervene in individual disputes unless the Financial Ombudsman Service reports that it has not complied with an ombudsman's decision that has been accepted by the complainant.

Getting back to the OP's point. You can send it to any branch. I recommend that you put it in writing because that way you have a record of it.

Get proof of posting (free from post office) but don't bother with recorded delivery. The Financial Ombudsman Service will deem it to have been received two working days later.

Hi, I have always complained to this address:
    Customer Relations
    Brindleyplace Service Center
    Two Brindleyplace
    Birmingham
    B1 2AB

This was in response to an error on there account that ment my Dad had no access to any information about his account,
To be honest, they did were not that helpful, and after I received their response, then I complained to the ombudsman.

I find that they make loads of mistakes, I think the collection center is also in an overseas call center...making it even harder to resolve things!

I had no end of hassle with Royds TSB, and then I began to take a very ruthless approach with them.

Even with slight transgressions I made a separate complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

The reason why is that each complaint costs Royds £500 a time (this is the FOS' investigative costs).

After a while, Royds TSB gave up, and that's fine with me.

It's just a shame they didn't give up banking full-stop, and that the government didn't let them die off.
