Hi, quick question, we are getting rid of an old metal futon which seems to be steel. Can we get a little bit of money back by selling it for scrap metal? not expecting much really but £20 or something would be nice... :)

any ideas or thoughts please? It is not worth passing on via freecycle as it has broken in places on the frame.

Thanks :)

You might get a few pence. But not worth the petrol to take it to scrapyard unless very close.

you wil get nowhere near the £20 you would like, i think general is around £50 a ton, which is 5p a kg you bed will only be a few kgs...

the best place for this thread is either up your income, or the green board....
