New car advice please
I'm looking for advice or points of view on which car would meet my needs best. I was originally planning on getting a 4 seater convertible, however, have now found that my son (aged 13) would be so cramped with the limited headroom (he is now the tallest in the household!) that it would not be practicable for long journeys.
I want something a bit sporty and exciting, however, have to temper this with the fact that there will be four of us in there. I have about £20k and am looking at new cars.
I quite like the 2.2d sport Mazda 3 (I think this diesel is OK for town driving unlike some of the others?), also wondered about the Volvo C30 or the Alfa Romeo Giulleta. I would really welcome any advice or suggestions - are there any other "sporty but practical" cars I could consider within my budget? For complicated reasons the car has to be new (for a used car the budget drops to £12k)
