Which vax carpet cleaner help please!!

Hi guys,
I have received a £110 credit for argos through a promotion through work and would like to buy a vax carpet cleaner. Problem is i don't know which one to go for. I don't mind putting some towards the £110 without going mad but i want one that works well and reviews on internet are quite mixed. Anybody tried any of the current ones? any advice welcome!!

bought the vax rapide classic. last week from argos its the £99 version. did the job most definately, couldnt believe the amount of dirt that it dragged up. its simple and easy to set up and use.

    overall verdict. good.

The amount of dirt and dog hairs it picks up is unbelievable.
I got it from Argos and it cost me £50 but i saw one in rosebys for £40 the other day.
