AS title says, I want to download some movies for my iphone to take on holiday. Itunes is a bit pricey, are there any cheaper but legal websites?

    You can buy DVDs (legally) from a shop and convert to the right format.

    The converting part is technically illegal.

    I doubt the OP has no intentions of distributing the files for anyone to get. Whos going to know that the OP converted the dvd to another format for IPod.

    The OP stipulated legal, and different people have different opinions on these things. Perhaps they're the type of person who won't break a law, no matter how stupid the law is. Better that they're able to make an informed decision, no?

    er, isnt converting for personal use considered 'fair use'



    as to the op's question:
    look at how small the screen is
    you wont be wanting to watch for 90+ mins on that screen

    you say youve got a netbook, use that instead
