Go to A&E! You will not be wasting their time. My appendix nearly burst as I felt the same as you and didn't want to bother anyone and put it off until the pain was unbearable.
Definitely take a book or something to keep you busy at A&E as the wait can be long.

Plus if you need IV antibiotics, you'll be hooked up to a drip and won't be going anywhere in a hurry.
As mojisola said, A&E assess non-emergency cases in triage and prioritise them, so they'll make sure that everybody is seen in the order which is most appropriate given their condition.
