Interview inder caution!! HELP!!!!

Options
Hi i live with my 3 children and claim all the lone parent benefits, i have just received a letter stating that i have to go in for a interview under caution with the job centre regarding my benefits and if im circumstances have changed.
i do have a b/f who has his own flat and stays round mine maxiumum of 3 times a week and who works full time, can you tell me if this is breaking the law and should i tell the job centre interview all this information? and will they stop my payments straight away? as there is no way i can afford to pay for the rent and council tax and all that. Me and my b/f were talking of moving in together but we worked it out that it would be virtually impossible to afford to do that.. teh kids arent his and lately my violent ex has heard of me having a new b/f form the kids and as been terrorissing me and my new b/f and that is why he has been staying 3 nigha a week as i was told this was fine by a friend, but when he doesnt stay my mother stays with me, is this legal does any1 know?? i have got a restraining order on my ex b/f and he has broken this on several occassions and been to court numerous amount of times but this still doesnt stop him!!!
CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME BY GIVING ME ANY INFORMATION WHAT TO DO IN THE INTERVIEW ON FRIDAY PLEASE!!

ALSO IF MY B/F MOVED IN PERMANTLY WOULD WE BE ENTITLED TO ANY KIND OF PAYMENTS TO PAY A BIT OF THE RENT AS I HAVE A 3,4 A 5 YEAR OLD KIDS AND CANNOT WORK FULL TIME AND WE WOULDNT BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT ON ONLY MY B/F PAYMENTS...
WOULD BE GREATFULL FOR INFORMATION AND HELP!!

Might be to do with your lodger but most likely your bf (or are they they same) because there is no 3 night rule and you could be classed as living together.

Tell the truth and you will be ok.

you posted a few weeks ago about having a lodger to help with your mortgage payments, have you declared this rental income?

that is why he has been staying 3 nigha a week as i was told this was fine by a friend,

your friend was incorrect - there is no maximum number of nights that are ok

put your details as a couple into entitledto and you will see what benefits you may receive as a family

:)Hi im a single parent who works and earns under 15k, as i have been struggling with my morgage repayments recently i have now taken in a tenant to help with the costs at £70 a week, im wandering if this will affect my tax credits and if i have to declare it plz??? would be greatfull if you could help me...

You may not have a lodger now, but your previous post would indicate that you did.... could the interview be about this maybe?

I think all you can do is tell the truth and hope for the best.

yeah i went against the lodger idea though cos i got 1 for 2 days and he got fed up with all the kids noises, so i take its not regarding this! but i stated this in the lodger thing lol!!

the thing is, i truly belive that its my ex trying to get me into trouble AGAIN!!!

If you explain the reason you don't want to be alone & thats why your mum/bf stay over i'm sure they will be symapthetic.

They might suggest that your bf moves in & that you start to claim as a couple.

I had an interview last year because my bf stayed over when he was off work to help me out with my kids cos I suffer from depression & struggle but they were fine with it & let us carry on.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

i would take every scrap of evidence with you, it will all help. surely they will understand that you need support.
have you thought about contacting the police and asking them for someone to stay with you at night in view of the fact that he has broke his constraining order before. of course the police will say no they haven't got the manpower, i know that, but it could be an asset to say you have tried to get someone "professional" to give you the security you obviously need so had to fall back on family and friends.

Good luck hun, i am sure it will be fine.
