Hi all,
Here's a challenge i'd like some of you to give me a hand with please! We'd like your opinion on what type of accounts to open and who with?!?!
Myself and husband-to-be would like to open a joint account to pay for future wedding services
We also would like to save some money, say £100 a week to go into this account or to pay for these things. We also have about £10,000 savings we would like to put into a savings account to earn us some money, but need to be able to access it in a years time when we expect to have to put down a deposit on a house.
We will also be looking for a mortage soon enough so would probably like to have an account with a bank that would be suitable for that! We are always in credit and have no loans. We earn about £3000 combined a month
What do you all suggest? I am completely confused by what AER, gross, etc means! Also, as we live in NI we may be limited in our options. SOS help, i've been putting this off for 6 months so far and know I have probably lost interest by procrastinating!
Thanks,
Mia
