i only popped in the sorting office to collect a parcel, was only in for a minute, and was slapped with a parking ticket,so this officer must have been watching, and then pounced.

If it was a council ticket, post it up here so we can see if there are any discrepancies.
do you have pics of the signage, lines on the road.
Other than that, pay up and smile.
Hope the parcel was worth it.!!!!make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Woah hang on a mo, dont go paying anything until we know its cosha.
If its council then chances are it can be appealed on technicalities.
If its private then ignore it completely never contact them and never pay them a penny.
Tell us what it is and who its from before ya do owt else. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
Did you read my post?
i said exactly the same as you did.
post the pictures for discrepancies, if we cant find any the op will have to pay.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

If you were collecting a parcel from the post office than its quite likely covered by the loading/unloading exemption. Council will fight like mad on this
Copy/photo both sides of the ticket and host on tinypic after removing personal details. Copy the url and paste the url into a post. Remove the http:// bit and voila!I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

Yup certainly did !, but you said "cough up and pay" without mentioning owt about private tickets.
More likely than not a council ticket but some delivery offices are on industrial estates which could be patrolled by ppc's.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
