Hate to point it out Mega, your OP mentions that the banks are (were) more culpable than gordon brown, yet it was HE who allowed them to practise their dodgy dealings in the first place... Dont forget they were allowed to do what they did with the FULL knowledge of the prime minister. It was only when his crackpot, hairbrained scheme failed miserably that it became the banks fault!
They bailed out the banks because they had no choice... the bonuses thing is unfortunate, but remember, Gordon could have left 10 downing street and made untold millions in book deals and after dinner speeches; its only because he is a one eyed snot eating jock tw@ that he hasnt bothered up to now!0 -

that's interesting, but you're the one with negative equity and you're the one who won't be making the quick profit you thought you would be. you and people like you who don't want to repay your debts are just as responsible for the banking crisis as the idiots who lent you the money. hence, on your logic, people like you are as much the enemy of the working class as the banks are.0
