Nevermind. At least they've got newish cars on finance and loads of designer jeans. Albums full of photographs of great memories from many years worth of middle-class foreign holidays they've enjoyed.
The debtors and non-savers on the whole made their own decisions if they are struggling now.
Along with many retired people who are relying on the interest from savings to get by......0 -

Personally, I have done quite nicely out of the situation - my mortgage payments are extremely low, and I have lots of work.
I am puzzled by the total absence on this forum of any kind of anger with the massive problems we are all having to face, which are totally due to the wrong decisions of a clearly indentifiable business sector, with a fairly small number of members.

Like I posted earlier, do a search on the subject and see the anger......The anger hasn't diminished, people are tired of the same old topic with the same old posts........
Go back 18 months and many wanted the bankers/Government and chavs hung from the nearest Lampost ..Peoples views haven't change they are just getting by the best they can under the circumstances.....Over the coming 12 months there will be plenty more anger when the spending cuts take real effect.....0 -

Bring on the revolution...

MMM

I can't decide whether I think MMM has an unhealthy monomania about banks or is just a troll.
Certainly the banks behaved like idiots - and not for the first time. But it was government that let them escape their moral hazard and fanned the flames of insatiable borrowing.0 -

Are you suggesting that Fred the Shred is a member of the forum??
Any ideas about their forum names? I have my doubts about Hamish, has a vested interest in the housing market and keeping up HPI........
Maybe Hamish is Fred the Shred.....:D
TBH bank bosses can't be arsed to waste their lives on the forums........0 -
