Solicitors fees

We have been given the following quote from a solicitor. Could anyone let me know if they seem reasonable? She does come highly recommended from a friend so I don't mind paying a little bit more.

    Tell her this is a standard overhead of her business! Same with Postage telephones and sundries (unless you are overseas and it's international phone calls). Should be included in the £575.

    Check also that she is not going to charge extra for the SDLT form. Again, should be included in the 575 but some solicitors charge £50+ on top and given she's charging for her professional indemnity I'll bet she's one of those....

    Ah. Just spotted the ' Inland Revenue Forms fee £50.00' That must be the SDLT form I mentioned. Surprise!

    get it removed or go elsewhere.

    I'm surprised there's no fee for 'office heating and lighting' !
