Hi,
I have got my choices down to two camersas the Canon Ixus 100 and the Canon Ixus 120.
The Ixus 100 has a view finder and is 3x optical whilst the 120 does not have the view finder but is 4x optical.
Please does anyone have one of these cameras or do you know about them. The viewfinder sounds a good idea (not got one on our current camera) but think the 120 is slightly newer model.
The Ixus 100 is £149.99 in currys and the 120 is £169 in Jessops.
Many thanks:)

Sorry I can't help much as it's been a while since I've purchased my camera (I have an old Ixus model), seeing that the 120 is the newer model and only £20 more why don't you go for that one? It really depends if you think the viewfinder will be useful though.
May be best to check more detailed reviews though like these here:

Personally I still like and use a view finder.0

1. You don't need a viewfinder if you have a screen
2 . Better optical zoom = better photos when zoomong0 -
Thanks for replying.
I have changed my mind am getting Panasonic TZ9 - instead of going for camera and camcorder. Reviews are really good and the TZ9 from currys doesn`t have the GPS which we don`t need.0
