birthday ideas please!!!!

Hi all, it's going to be my 20th birthday soon and I know that in the evening I am going to be having a meal with friends. However, instead of the typical night-out afterwards I would prefer to do something during the day. Something fun... but that doesnt cost too much, since I can't afford to pay for everyone, and i'm sure if my friends pay for themselves they wont want to be spending TOO much.

I have thought of:
:) going bowling (not my idea of fun)
:) going paintballing for the day (too pricey)
:) going to a theme park (my friend who turns 20 a few days before me has stolen that idea lol)

but I really would like to do something fun, and I have that nagging feeling I have forgotten a brilliant idea... HELP!

How about Go Ape if there is one near you? You walk around up in the trees and scare yourself a bit!

Or Picnic in a park - everyone brings something - nice and cheap but fun? Could always take twister or some other random activities and some pimms ;o)

Or hire some boats and try rowing or have a boat ride if you live near a river?

Try rock climbing for the afternoon? Have done a trial session at the local climbing wall with a group of friends before - very fun.

I'll see if I can think of any more...

    Hi,
I'm a face painter and I've just been booked for a 21st birthday party, I will be painting the birthday girl and all her guests! I've actually done several adult parties, either face painting only or face painting and glitter tattoos. It's great fun. One 21st pary I went to also had a magician booked to surprise the birthday girl when they went to a local bar. This might be something you would like ( ..or not)
I hope you have a good time whatever you do.

we always go sledging at our local indoor snow centre for our birthdays (it's tradition now). It's cheap too, £6 - £9 I think, and there is always offers on for a free session or BOGOF
