Am I missing something?
I just had a look at the list of board guides
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showgroups.php
and the list seemed to be repeated - with the second list devoid of the individual board information.
Is there a reason for this?

Probably some quirk in the way the non-public usergroups have been set up to give BGs appropriate permissions? e.g: more than one hidden group, so that they show up twice on that list?
