how do I find the voltage reading? I thought thats what I put before0
-
sorry found it now using other software, it's 12.03 (11.97 min , 12.10 max)0
-
I suspect CPU overtemping is your problem not power supply. Worth having a look though at the voltages, particularly 12 V in your BIOS hardware monitoring menu. Motherboards don't always read the voltage correctly but if it's fluctuating a lot it could point to your psu as being the cause of your problem.

thanks everyone, found the problem0

a driver was causing the crashing (found in the minidump file after a crash) uninstalled it now and it's fine, the software was called rapport0
-
I always thought that software was evil, but for different reasons
well found alex, another reason to add to the list of "why NOT to use rapport"......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0
