Intrusive Lloyds TSB online banking layout

Ok I've just about managed to get used to the new online banking layout for Lloyds TSB, then I log in today and find that they've added strips of very intrusive advertising for Platinum cards, silver upgrades and personalised loan offers in between my different accounts
There is NO "remove these offers" button on screen and I'm disgusted that I'm forced into looking at these stupid offers.
Is there a Lloyds TSB representative on this board I can castrate??

I have managed to get rid of the ads by going into Change Details(top right corner) and changing marketing preferences to NO. Unfortunately, there is no way to go back to the usual statement order or to get rid of the awful pig graphics.0

No point in slagging the bank off here - you must make your voice heard by complaining directly to the bank.
If enough people do it they MAY listen!0 -
Ever tried to pursue a genuine complaint with LTSB? No, thought not. As for the desire to castrate a member of LTSB you might have to dedicate a substantial part of your life to finding one who had the necessary anatomy. IMHO.jonesMUFCforever wrote: »No point in slagging the bank off here - you must make your voice heard by complaining directly to the bank.
If enough people do it they MAY listen! My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

They do reply and say all requets/complaints are passed to their development team ...................;)0 -
Ask for the leaflet about how to complain.
They have to get back to you within 8 weeks or you can go to Financial Ombudsman.0 -
Mine were set to No - and appear, therefore, to have been changed to Yes in the upgrade...I can't believe anyone has 'Marketing preferences' set to 'Yes' and yet still complains about getting marketing messages!!
Edit :Having checked - i think they have added in a new one "display personalised sales messages" which defaults to yes. So have now set it to no and have got rid of most of them -but am still left with this

Text alerts Free text alert whenever your card is used abroad
In the middle of my accounts, which just means even more scrolling to get to my main account which for some unknown reason no longer appears at the top of the list

Thanks to both of you. My complaint was responded to within 8 weeks - just - but didn't in anyway address the problem (spurious telephone numbers appearing in my confirmation screen). I was obliged to escalate the complaint to their central complaints unit and await any form of explanation - beyond "we don't know and are investigating" - 16 months later. The nature of the complaint is not one that the FO handles - sorry guys but don't be hoodwinked into thinking that'll solve matters. It has therefore run into the sand and no one wants to know.jonesMUFCforever wrote: »Ask for the leaflet about how to complain.

Sounds odd. I do see an entry for 'Display personalised sales messages' but it was already set to 'No' - I can't say whether it's a new entry or not as it would have been years since I looked at this screen.Mine were set to No - and appear, therefore, to have been changed to Yes in the upgrade...

Interestingly, I don't get the messages re 'Offers' or 'Text alerts'. I see I am registered for text alerts, I can only think that could be why that option doesn't appear.0
