spam from a user

I have reported a poster who continues to spam on mse for many months now

Can abuse please look at this poster I enclosed a screenshot where they admit its there web site and has at least 10 posts promoting this on one forum

I wouldnt normally raise this but it seems even though you do right thing to report abuse nothing as yet has been done




EDIT well it seems there post has now got pulled but many of there spam posts remain

The poster even had cheek claim it isnt spam today before it got pulled I assume by a BG

It is not the first time they have had posts pulled (and as far as I can recall, not the second or third either!) - maybe worth reporting to Abuse as well?

Yes I did twice and still they spam they had at least 2 posts removed the last 2 days thats probably because a BG moved them after I highlighted what they did

what the heck is wrong with this forum 3 times I emailed they have had spam removed but going back to June posts they have lots of spam

I suspect it's the weekend and because this doesn't look like a matter of life and death. And 9 posts out of 150 odd posts helping people look for a decent deal from someone who appears to be part of the MSE community should be just banned to put rest to your obsession? I respect that the team finds their members in good faith; probably they are waiting and watching before they warn or ban for all you know. If I frequented other parts of the forum I'd be posting about HoF offers a lot because it's one of the best places for bargains and even the occasional freebies of expensive home items, yet so under-researched and I don't even own HoF although I wish I did. My point is that you never know the motive when they are regulars or the forum team strategy for that matter.

Meher the poster had several posts removed the other day I assume by a board guide, they remain on forums browsing and odd posts but I bet they post there site again when it quietens down

Its not an obsession I browse that forum a lot looking for deals, its not fair they continue to promote there web site when others who have done some much less get ppr'd
