Tenmah - Did you have a nice holiday?
LMC and Buns.....how's the heads this morning?
Been awake half the night thanks to the alien landings on the train tracks behind my house......well ok maybe not aliens but track maintenance thingies that sounded like they were angle-grinding every single centimetre of track....4 hours of that didn't make for a happy Pooky household.
Off to the beach in a bit for the anual sandcastle competition, I love seeing what they can create.....but first, coffee and fooooooood!
Oh and this week I'm going to have 5 NSDs....I am....honest."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Hi Pooky
It wasn't one of our better ones to be honest. We stayed at Pontin's and were really disappointed with the accommodation and customer service.
We had specifically asked for an apartment with level access to get the wheelchair in and to be near the amenities but when we got there, it had a really high step that would be impossible to use and was quite a way from the amenities. I wouldn't mind but my daughter had phoned them three times before we went to ensure they had given us what we asked for.
They then gave us another apartment but when we went to view it, someone was already moving into it. They did eventually 'upgrade' us because of all the hassle but even their top apartment was pretty basic. The roof leaked and it smelt very musty in there.
It kinda spoilt the holiday. Also it was a long way to drive and my daughter was in agony by the time we got there, so that didn't help either.
I am really glad to be home!
Oooh have fun at the beach - we used to go every year to Walton on the Naze to see the sandcastle competition - some people do come up with some amazing ideas!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Hi Tenmah,
I am sticking with the oil cleanse - it isn't drying out my skin but I don't seem to be shifting the blocked pores yet.
Sorry we can't see you today in Bristol.
Sorry Pontins was a bit rubbish - hope you enjoyed yourselves outside the apartment.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Good morning ladies, just finished with my boys present openings, and my mother has finally decided that she is moving out again for good. She gets the keys to her new place on Friday so its all blah! haha
I must get a grip on things, so I am off to work out a new weekly budget, and work in some things that I genuinely forgot to add, like school dinners I am in arrears by £38Still only a week until the school holidays so it will be one less expense. I am also going to look at "free" days out in the local area, this summer I am not going to spend hundreds of pounds to keep the kids occupied. Maybe next year they can have a great summer, but for this year needs must im afraid.
