Threatening to take you to court is the most common PPC ploy used in the hope that the threat of it will persuade recipients of their pseudo-tickets and letters to fold and pay up. Don't worry about court until such time as a genuine Form N1 Claims Form arrives, properly sealed by the court and make sure its genuine because PPC's continue to attempt to deceive people by sending out unsealed (that means it doesn't have the official court stamp on it) N1 forms. Just continue to ignore everything and do not be tempted to respond to anything. As you have already corresponded with them you may well be subject to an extra level of attention. The vast majority of PPC's do not do court because they know that the chances of winning (other than by default) are slim and besides it involves them in spending time away from milking the rest of the population who remain unaware of the fact that this is just a scam.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Ignore everything from them and their bogus debt collectors and solicitors , they will not take you to court, and disabled bays in private car parks are just pretty boxes, and they have no basis in the blue badge scheme, that operates on public roads and council car parks.

Basically its SCAM, and the quicker they go out of business for telling lies and acting unethically the better!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Is your letter different from these, have a close look? From the sticky:

I haven't seen a different letter from Control Account but maybe they've just changed the wording because not enough people are falling for the scam!

You must ignore Control Account. I did, and have their letters to show for it (got 3 letters, ignored them all, now I show friends if the subject comes up so that they never pay a private parking ticket).

    Do nothing.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Not always. Scotland passed the Disabled Persons' Parking Place Act, which can allow councils to enforce certain disabled bays under RTRA 1984 in a 'private' car park. Not heard of it happen yet as it only received Royal Assent last year, but one to be aware of.

you know better than me ;) as you can tell by my username i'm not from that neck of the woods, but in general disabled bays are not part of the blue badge scheme in private car parks, so they are just there like other bays to keep cars straight and organised.

I assume a TRO would be needed? No TRO = no offence.

I think that's right. Under the new law PPC's won't be allowed to look after disabled parking spaces in private car-parks. That task must be undertaken by the council (or sometimes the police).
