As it says in the title really! I won piece of furniture on Monday, seller stated collection only, messaged her Tuesday am saying would she prefer paypal or cash on collection to avoid paypal fees, messaged her again yesterday am asking if I could arrange collection for this weekend and have had no reply. Am I just being impatient or could there be a problem. Thing is, i am now worried about putting a paypal payment through in case I don't ever get contacted by her
Any advice?

Was it really cheap?
Happened to me a few weeks ago, "won" some office furniture, tried messaging, tried phoning, tried email, heard nothing until the unpaid bidder thing came through..."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Have you requested their contact details through ebay & phoned them. I had the same thing & thought that maybe they were ignoring me as the item was incredibly cheap, it turned out that she had been really busy & hadn't been online, I phoned her & made arrangements to collect. I had made the payment through paypal in the end as it was about 2 weeks.0

I would pay by paypal and if you dont get any communication from the seller after 7 days do an item not received claim.0

I agree, pay by paypal immediately. That has two benefits, firstly it stops you getting an NPB strike and secondly it may well actually get the sellers attention.
Would i be right in suspecting another private seller with a 99p start that went wrong?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I concur (I love that word) with Soolin and SB. More than likely it's someone who didn't set a high enough starting price.0

Thanks everyone - don't you just love MSE - far quicker than google:j
Yes, it was a bargain cheap for what it is, and I was worried that they had been disappointed the item went for the starting price £75. Thanks for your advice - will let you know what happens!0
