how often can you switch ?
Hello, new "switcher" here...
Unfortunately, I think I've made a big mistake. I decided to switch from Scottish Power when they announced their big price rise. At that point, Martin's Tip was "It's time to switch", so, i did do my comparisons, and found that EDF was by far the cheapest, allowing me to make a big saving. But 2 weeks after I actually made the switch, they also announced a huge price hike and now, it looks like I'm going to spend more than before the switch! EDF start to provide my electricity this month and gas next month. No sign from Scottish power which took my direct debit for both gas and electricity for this month (so, looks like I paid twice for electricity this month). They cancelled my online account, so, I don;t have any mean of checking what I paid and what I owe them.
So, if it's confirmed that I'll pay more than before, then I may as well switch again to one of the cheaper. Can I do that soon ? Is there a limit of the number of switches ?
Many thanks for any advice!
Philippe

I believe that you can legally switch every 28 days if you want. And as it often takes longer than that to switch, yes you can switch again before a supplier has started billing you. You will just have only a very short period of supply in the middle with the second company. Be careful to take meter readings for each on the actually switchover dates in each case (I speak from experience.....)Indecision is the key to flexibility0

You can switch as often as you want - however the hassle it takes to set up the new account means it probably a minimum of 3 months between changing suppliers0
