I have only just started with Gap too and was wondering how you know if they've approved your assignments for payment???0

I was going to suggest a mobile phone stopwatch. You don't look suspicious fiddling with a mobile phone.
Thanks Becles. Only cost me £1.50 for the touchy feely one for my palm and it's fabulous, can't stop playing with it. Just how sad am I? More fast food for me today, let's hope a gym one goes on soon!
TG I hear what you say about sharing information and not just taking (esp if it's perceived to be taking from those that are sharing it, oh the irony!). It can be a little daunting for newbies to know what to put in alerts etc especially when whilst some people are happy to help others, there are a significant number of newbie posts that are openly critiscised. Would it be useful to add something about sharing etiquette on the first page? HTH

I've never heard anything from them- no queries or anything. I assumed from that it was all OK, but I have done a few this month and don't know what have been paid- if any.0 -

Where did you buy the stopwatch for £1.50? I bought one for £4.99 a while ago, it was so complicated I could not work it and the alarm kept going off which was a bit of a give away. Battery only lasted about a month, so needless to say it is now in the charity shop0 -

No news is good news with Gap, and they pay a month in arrears so the payment that has gone in today will be for June jobs.0 -

Sometimes it's just a little confirmation that i'm understanding it correcly and that i have interpreted the notes correctly.

I do see the stupid pubs where you have to order a certain meal though.0 -
That is why I like TMDC, they are always available (well, Mondays to Fridays) and get back to me not only with their queries but also in regards to my questions and they provided us with our own forum where we can get in touch with fellow diners and share info. That works quite well.
TMDC offers quite a few different Stansted and Heathrow airport dines.
And you can choose what you fancy;)
They're never recruiting in my area though0 -

It's an 'app' for my mobile phone. Just type your make and model of your phone and stop watch app into google and you will be presented with the choices available. So much easier than what I've been struggling with for the past few weeks, don't know why I didn't think of it before. There are loads of free ones available too. Was a tad concerned about the download and payment over the mobile but touch wood everything went very smoothly. Good luck.

Its all a bit hit and miss - you will know if any have been rejected because it will say so on the list of My Assignments. If it doesn't say rejected you can assume its OK for payment. But you need to keep a careful check on what jobs you have done in the preceeding calendar month and EXACTLY what you expect to be paid for them! Match your figure up against Gaps payment and, if you are lucky, you will have been paid for everything.
If you have been paid less then its pigs ear to try and sort it out - often you can hazard an educated guess as to whats missing but you may have to send Gap a list of the payments you were expecting and ask them what they have omitted. Takes a while but usually resolved in the end.
When I first started with them several years agoo, I had mistakes nearly every month - but they seem to be a bit better at it now.ELITE 5:2
