No fee or mileage, 147 Q's and the expenses may cover the bill but some people like them

Cut to a few months later, and now RE require the photo to also contain the receipt AND a piece of paper with the assignment number written on it. The person who'd forgotten to take the photo should've just accepted it as a lesson learned and done it again.

I do think the requirement of photographing the sandwich is taking things a little far in terms of practicality, but the requirement was clearly stated in the assignment notes, so the shopper knew what was needed.

I had a very long & indepth conversation with RE & I mentioned the change in the assignment & this was not the reason given to me (incidentally it was not me looking for the photo of a sandwich ! )
They reeled off about 1/2 dozen other reasons, mostly to do with the client:mad: rather than anything the shoppers have done wrong
At the end of the day they dictate how they want a job to be done & we either like it or lump it:eek:

MSUK started a LOooooooooong while back and it was free to join but then turned to"Invitation only"

I got in before the gates came down(Cue Groucho Marx quote )

Has some MS Reps who only post jobs on MSUK so can get some "insider" jobs.

CON
Used to be good info but basically it is a LOT of Old "fish wives" who spend most of the forum in the "lounge" talking about anything BUT Msing
They treat the "Office" and MSE as beneath them

Claim to fame:
I got banned TWICE from posting [Can't think why...]

SO
I stopped posting and just kept up with the "Work available"
They stopped being Invite only and have opened up to anyone :eek:

Used to be members of MSUK but there was a HUGE Cat fight and they split, forming their own site.
Always open to anyone, but still a LOAD of Fish wives etc...

Has some good info on Video MSing, though little else new.

Site is VERY unreliable (even worse then RE :eek:)

Some good info and dedicated people on here BUT a lot of "fly by nights" (hence derision from MSUK) who are
1. One Sandwich short of a picnic (Photo but NO receipt)
2 Lazy

The best bit (as has been said) is the ALERTS thread. always first to get this (days before the other two.)

Bottom Line
Sign up to all three to cover the bases but unless you're into clique Gossip just post here.

The info on the start of the thread never got there by MAGIC as some folks appear to think, it was sheer hard work from dedicated MS'ERS who are prepared to help people get into MS'ing.
Anyway thats my view as a regular poster & lurker on this thread.:)

Yup, I'm more than aware it didn't get there by magic...I spent several hours re-writing it some months ago. :beer:
