  • I've just started down the road of MS but unfortunately (for me!) failed a burger training programme cos I thought I was on the test before the test !

Now I can't do any of those assignments and there were loads !

    Aargh .... any thoughts ?

I sent a message but from the bits I've read I don't hold out much hope in a reply ...

    Cheers !

I think when that happened to me I clicked on the help/contact bit next to the job in the shop log explaining what had happened and that I needed to cancel the job as I wasn't sure when I was going to be back on the road so should give them an opportunity to find someone else to do the job as there was still a week on the time frame.

I was a bit worried about them considering me for future jobs which I wrote in the message and they even sent a message back thanking me for letting them know in plenty of time.
  • thanks a lot girliess <3
  • I went to do a stamp job for gyp on thursday but it was closed. emailed them not heard anything! So cancelled the assignment using the closed site tab and guess what? Its gone back into the available assignments page! Numptys. Now i bet i wont get a closed shop fee

Thats what happened with a petrol job I did. Got the visit fee added on to another job once they had confirmed it was closed. Not the full fee but more than half.

Dont think there's any reason you cant pick the job up again. Unless it's permanently closed? In which case, pm me where it is and I'll 'visit' it tomorrow. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If we're quick we could all 'visit' it before Gyp work it out.

Theres a corner shop in Lanarkshire that I tried to do today that we can all "visit" in our Time Machines going back 3 months to when it last traded!
  • I had this earlier today with a corner shop, I tried to contact them through the website but not convinced the message went. What email address did you use??

I had this today with petrol station and when I tried to submit a message thro' the "contact us" section I don't think it went! I have had no automated email from them. From other posts it looks like they simply put the job back on the jobs available list if you release it due to the site being closed.

Should I wait for a 'phone call or cancel the job giving the reason as "closed site" from the drop down list?

2 quick questions, I think I read way back on this thread that diesel is fine for any of the Gyp jobs and I have a chance for my first stamp job with ESA, are the stamps refunded on top of the fee?

You get reimbursed slightly more than the stamps cost. You can read the shopper instructions before you apply for ESA jobs by scroling down the 'Survey summary' page and clicking on the link. It will usually state the fee AND any reimbursement :)
