Just a reminder the pope is in town tomorrow and if you have Mystery shops DO NOT enter the town tomorrow you wont get anywhere they are shutting down roads and as you can imagine expect delays!

I'm planning on walking everywhere! Might have to take a rucksack.

Maybe I just shouldn't do tests etc after only a few hours of sleep last night, but I've recently signed up with React and am just taking the test now. But I'm a tad confised. The first few questions are distinguishing between open and closed questions, which is fine. But there is then a questions which says: Is this a feature, "This bracelet is thicker"? Needs a Yes/No answer. Not sure if it's just me being a bit dim first thing in the morning, but I'm not quite sure what it's asking?!?
And while I'm here can I also just check that "An offer of assistance must be verbal", is true?!?

I am due to go from West Lothian to Coatbridge then Cumbernauld tomorrow morning. I am keeping my fingers crossed the roads will be ok and if needbe I can go the "back way".
  • This is just me having a rant - I know it is my fault :p

I accepted two phone shops with GFK last week and scheduled one for Monday and one for today. I did the one on Monday fine and entered the results in the afternoon and was on track to do the one today. Then when i logged into my GFK account yesterday I got this message saying "results overdue" and it de-allocoated the job automatically. Yes I had managed to do the one I had scheduled for Wednesday on the Monday

I tried to explain what happened in the text box and said I can still do the job today but not heard anything yet. I fear it will all be automatic with them and that will be me with a large "Black mark" against my name.

Jen is totally correct here. There is a shop near the Maybury roundabout where the shop staff are being banned from their own carpark.

Remember he is travelling between the two cities on an undefined route (um, the M8??) in rush hour too.

Ok, in that case I might re think my plans for tomorrow morning and reschedule to Friday.... I thought the morning was going to be ok and it was on the afternoon he was on the move.

Do these count as being in the Electrical Department? We need a new hand blender at the moment actually as ours melted at the weeked! But I wasn't sure whether these would be classed as 'Appliances' rather than electrical. But then again, wouldn't everything in these types of store be electrical as that's the whole nature of the shop?!?
    I think that's why I was getting confused! :D

Surely anything that you plug in can be classed as electrical?

  • Does anyone else find the shopping channel assignment reports to be extremely long winded and repetitive? How many ways can they ask the same question over and over and over again? These reports are sending me to an early grave.

Honestly, just give them a call and explain what happened. They are really nice and understanding. I've had a couple of glitches with them over the years (very few) and they're always been sorted out. When you get on the phone be nice though - don't go off on a tangent. You'll get a better result with them that way. Unlike other companies you just want to scream at but can't because if you call them you'll get the sack!

I'm glad somebody else spotted it! Good money though!
