  • GRRR Only 1 of my egg jobs out of 3 got validated for pay for next month! :(

That's annoying, when did you do them? I did one on Saturday which has gone through fine, but it was perfect so probably was easy to mark. The job I did yesterday hasn't, but I didn't expect it to really.

Just looking through my ESA payments, I seem to earn the same amount (+/- £10 or so) every month, whether I've considered it a quiet or busy month with them. How odd!

Grr, I'm so peeved off with Gap. Someone from there sent me an email on Tuesday at 1am querying one of my reports. Then I receive a second email from another member of staff at 3am telling me that as I was uncontactable, my report was now invalid and I would not be paid for it. WHAT!!! I am supposed to stay awake all night checking my emails am I?? Didn't even have a missed call from them. I sent them an email back to this effect but surprise surprise, I have not received a reply.

I'm still waiting for a response to my email from last Friday. They called me begging to do a breakfast dine in - I told them I would do a lunch drive through. So my notes say I'm doing a lunch dine in with a breakfast reimbursement :wall: I am not doing it and being out of pocket, especially as it's a 30 min drive away and they asked me to do it!

On a different forum there is a Gap member of staff who replies to PMs, PM me if you want the details to try and contact him. I haven't sent him a message out of principle, I shouldn't have to use a forum to contact them, they should reply to e-mails from their own site! However you'll actually be out of pocket so I'd chase whoever you can!
  • Has anyone else doing the 'teaching emails' not had the proper detailed response? Have to complete report tomorrow and only had a holding email and the post stuff. Seem to remember getting everything well within the specified timeframe last time round....

Maybe they are all on their hols, like all my favorite MS companies seem to be at the moment - deadly quiet :(

I think the UK team are good at replying. I always have answers from Melissa or Elay. This is my first experience with contact from the Australian team though. I don't mind not being paid for an assignment if I have done something wrong, but in this case the staff at GAP have obviously forgot about the time difference and I don't appreciate not having the chance to respond to them!
  • Blimey. Remind me never to do an attraction for React again. Took me 2 1/4 hours to sort the photos and do the report, and that's after a really long day out in London! (Had to finish it this morning 'cos I was too exhausted last night.) Really, really not worth it for the fee. I'd rather just pay full whack at the attraction in the future!
I'm broke, not poor. Poor sounds permanent, broke can be fixed. (Thoroughly Modern Millie)

hah could have told you that I did a underground attraction for them and after describing EACH section "sword swang from left to right blah blaah" i was knackered. there were 6-7 points of interest that needed full write ups...

    i felt sick after it.

abai franchise visits for a posh supermarket, mainly to motorway places.

Is the reimbursement seperate to the fee or does the spend come out of the fee?
