Has anybody else had the misfortune of doing a Amber garden centre? I did one today and it was a flamin' nightmare. (Admittedly it does pay quite well, so I suppose that's why.) Have to spend 5 minutes in each department, but it ended up being at least 10 because it was impossible to find any staff: total time, well over an hour. And now, lots of Excel spreadsheets for the results- yippee...

I hate the excel worksheets to but they are moving to Sassie so things should improve:)

I usualy get crisps which I crunch up

I got the veggie crisps and scrunched them without opening the bag :rotfl::rotfl:. I also use the milk scam :rotfl: I still hate it!
  • I'm really glad I'm still up at this time, or I'd have missed out on some more amazing Spanish airport jobs on RE!!! Turns out it isn't the EARLY bird who catches the worm... :j

Hrm anyone do a testing centre with BARE in july? I seem to be waiting payment... still.

Yep. Same here. Apparently it's the US office that are dealing with it. I've sent an email to Belgium which has been forwarded on but no response as yet.

I've just noticed this too, I'll be glad if it's not a mistake and we can shop when we want as I might be able to do a few of these then!!!

You are not alone. All the timeframes have vanished! If you are after a breakfast burger, no problem (the fee/assignment notes are enough to tell you)!! Anything else, and you're burgered. :rotfl:

    Nope. Definitely thirty two.

Actually, it's 33 'cos I'd omitted to include a Service Measure american diner that I am doing this week as well!!! :rotfl:

Aalthough I am enjoying it I do not still feel very confident and feel I am walking around with a big pointy hand saying "look at me Mystery Shopper"

We all felt like that. I've been doing it since 2002, and sometimes I still feel like that on some jobs where I think it makes you look obvious.
My question is whether leading up to Christmas does the work increase or decrease because the shops are under extra pressure, in other words do companies give them some leeway or not?
I've found there isn't as much MS work in December and what work there is usually needs to be done early in the month. However there's always plenty mechandising work as they want as much stock as they can out on the shop floor and attractive displays to catch peoples eye.
Here I go again on my own....
