I recently signed up with RE myself and I could see other jobs (in fact I can still see one) despite being in the probationary period. There were over 100 jobs in all but I couldn't take any others on and still cannot despite having completed my first assignment on Tuesday this week as I am still on probation!

It is quiet though, my other MS company has only had a couple of jobs in the past month, I usually get that many every few days. Summer holidays time I guess.

Sorry this is off topic everyone. Please can anyone tell me how easy it is to get the address changed on your passport and whether there is a fee?

I've looked at the government website and it's very clear on how to apply and renew etc but not a word on what to do if you move house.

When I moved I didnt notify them. dont think you have to??

Thanks. Seems odd, though - doesn't it have your address on it? I know they always ask for it at job interviews these days as proof of ID.

EDIT: Just looked at our old ones and the address is only what we wrote in ourselves. That's great - thanks for the help. I was wondering if I should wait to renew until after we've moved but I guess there's no harm in doing it now.

It's not on their website I'm afraid.

Certain banks allow you to see some pending credits and debits that are due the next working day.

Yet another question. I have the logger from UKmonkey and have PM'd Josie for her logger but no reply as yet. Could someone tell me if she is still around to get the basic logger or if anyone has a blank copy they can send me???

Have been offered a job where the MS company will pay for a flight in order to get you airside in order to MS one of the airport outlets.

If you don't get on a flight, how on earth do you get out of an airport after you've passed security?! I don't really want to get on a plane to be stranded in a foreign country all because I couldn't leave the airport!
