Wow squeaky what a horrible week you are having! So someone's got your card details and has been trying to buy things over the internet - it's amazing what people can do these days isn't it! Scary but good that the bank picked up on it so quickly. Don't expect any sympathy of RE - that'll be loads of deducted points for you!!! Hope things get better next week for you.0

Thanks...I posted this as a warning to everyone. apparently they know when you are on line. It is by key touching or something and that is how they get your details. I am usually very good, never open emails I don`t like the look of etc....but they got me:mad:0 -

Good morning. Applied for one of the voucher check jobs on React yesterday and said I could do it today. Its not been allocated yet and I'm due out (to do another react job) this morning. I know there is a chance it won't be allocated to me, but I don't want to come back from town and find it sat in my inbox. I'm a bit hesitant to ring as it explicitly says not to bother the staff by chasing up allocations.
I know they are very friendly - do you think they would mind if I rang to check in this case?

I realise it's going off topic slightly, but regarding another scam - be very, very careful if you use paypal. Someone somehow discovered my password, and money was disappearing out of my bank account (via ebay transactions). If you use it - and I know some MS companies pay using paypal - either change your password very regularly or remove any associated bank/credit cards after each time you use it. Paypal were actually quite good about it and recognised it was fraudulent use, so got my money back fairly quickly. But it has made me very cautious.....
We all think we are being careful, but there are some very dodgy, clever people out there!January 2012 GC £296.96/£3000 -
Can I ask a question, I'm not sure if or where I am allowed to mention a company but I'm trying to work out if they are reputable or not. There rates seem good and I thought I had heard mention of the name before but I cant find anything on here, I dont want to give any details out to a company that is not reputable.Competition wins - 09/03 - £500 ELC Vouchers 11/04 - Lush Goodies 21/04 - Gillette Fusion Gift Pack 22/05 - Mirrors DVD 29/05 - Return Flights to London & £500 29/05 - £50 Homebase Gift Vouchers 20/09 - Remote Control Helicopter 28/09 - £225 Bingo Win 05/10 £25 Photobox Vouchers 16/09 £90 Cash 30/11 £29 Cash 03/01 £20 03/04 Fifa Football :T0

Our bank login page looked a bit odd last week, wanting the whole password rather than 3 letters. So we called them and they gave us a load of advice, one of which was to run virus checks from a couple of different free providers, in addition to the normal one.
They were really helpful so if you do have any worries, it's best to ring as if there is a problem then, they know you haven't been lax in your security.
The checker they suggested found 13 spyware programs operating and I thought I had been really good about not downloading stuff and keeping my security up-to-date.0 -

If it's a mystery shopping company feel free to name them on here, and if anyone's heard of them, you'll get some opinions of them...0 -

I was impressed with the speed that the bank noticed something odd going on!! I had done several mystery shops in different towns over the weekend and also various edigital purchases online last week but of course I had all my receipts so was able to confirm the dates and times of my transactions. Someone had tried to make a purchase online on Monday morning whilst I was out mystery shopping. My card was declined and then I got the phonecall....so started the week from hell!0 -

Also, I have got more picky, and don't tend to do burgers, or pubs etc etc so tend to leave a lot of what I see for somebody else.serendipity2706 wrote: »There's not any point in making it up really is there? We’ve had to remove your signature.
