Don't you love it when a plan comes together... Agreed to go to somewhere 40 miles away for one company tomorrow on the promise of it being a regular thing and now managed to pick up an assignment near to it from a different company with a huge mileage allowance. Petrol paid and a decent wage for a few hours work. Now if only every day could happen like that lol.

That sound good lucky you. Maybe I should start looking at bit further away

It helps but only really becomes worthwhile if theres a nice cluster or circuit in an area or theres a company that are desperate to have a job filled so will pay mileage.

I cover stores within about a 60 mile radius from my home I've done 17k in the car this year so far

wow well im used to driving loads as I used to drive an hour to uni and back everyday.

So what would you do see if you can see one thats good in an area then look to see whats arround it then if there are a few accept them?

Still quite new to this just finding my feet at the moment its just egg overload. I might go and do a day in Lincoln if I can find a few there because I can submit all my reports in the uni lib before the end of august and then I can see some friend while I'm there. Not sure you wanted that information just sort of thinking allowed lol

Well it's official, I have lost the plot!

I've just received the worst possible score for a report and I'm so annoyed at myself for it.
I received a 3 out of 10 from TERN for the second part of a report (the first part got an 8) because I didn't follow the scenario brief. I'm so cross with myself as I read and re-read the brief a million times and actually went into the store twice to carry out the second part of the assignment to make sure I carried it out correctly. During the assignment I was put off by an obnoxious staff member who wasn't iterested in helping at all but that's no excuse for my mistake. Aaarrgggghhh!:mad:
The moral of this story is not to take on too much and to slllloooooowwwww down! I'm always rushing around at a million miles an hour and this is what happens.
Oh well I'm off to spend the rest of the day kicking myself. :(
I had one refused for ISC i spent ages writing it too :(
i was meant to ask about a mortgage but was not meant to wait to tell them i only had 10 mins to spare, i waited 10 mins to speak to someone.
I find the mortgage one i bit hard sometimes as i no longer have a mortgage and i had to use false name
sometimes i wonder why we punish ourselfs with this work lol

I know most of us are aware of this scam but i saw a post on MSE about someone who saw this and did it.. thought i would share what was on REACTS website today
Please be advised that we have recently become aware of a SCAM which is operating under the REACT SURVEYS name. The scam appears to be asking for a Mystery Shopping survey and the company involved send you a cheque for £2500 with the information that £250 is your fee and the rest is to be wired to their bank as a mystery shopping test of their procedures. You then pay in the cheque, do the transfer only to find that two weeks later, the original cheque bounces are you are out of pocket.
Should you receive an email with contents similar to this PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT THE ASSIGNMENT

Surely no-one would be idiotic enough to do that???
