Well it's official, I have lost the plot!

I've just received the worst possible score for a report and I'm so annoyed at myself for it.
I received a 3 out of 10 from TERN for the second part of a report (the first part got an 8) because I didn't follow the scenario brief. I'm so cross with myself as I read and re-read the brief a million times and actually went into the store twice to carry out the second part of the assignment to make sure I carried it out correctly. During the assignment I was put off by an obnoxious staff member who wasn't iterested in helping at all but that's no excuse for my mistake. Aaarrgggghhh! :mad::mad:
The moral of this story is not to take on too much and to slllloooooowwwww down! I'm always rushing around at a million miles an hour and this is what happens.
Oh well I'm off to spend the rest of the day kicking myself.

Yes me too! I'm a fitness instructor by day/night and I teach 15 exercise classes a week and I'm now getting too fat! I've refused to do any burger jobs this month and possibly for the foreseeable future as I'm having foot surgery next month and won't be able to jump around for at least 3 months so it's a strict diet for me.

Aww chick. Don't let it bother you too much. I carried out part 3 of 3 visits exactly as per the brief and gave heaps of information, spell checked everything etc on each and only got 3 8's. I didn't quite understand the mark, but what the hell.

I got a 6 from Bare the other week because there was 2 spelling mistakes in my report... !!!!!! what are the proof readers there for I ask? If we were all 100% perfect 100% of the time they'd be out of a job :rotfl:

I have got another egg job theres far too many eggs in my house at the moment. They only seem to have egg jobs hear me, never get any variety lol

Look on the positive side Linz, least they have scored it which presumably means they have accepted it and will pay you, they could have just rejected it for not following the brief and paid you nothing... Wouldn't like to suggest that the report is used anyway when they won't pay but with some of the companies it really wouldn't surprise me :rotfl:

I had one where I did the wrong scenario for GR once, took me over an hour doing the wrong scenario, realised and went back in and did the right one after I called them to let them know. A month later got a query because I hadn't asked them to write the rate on a business card they couldn't send it to the client... So in total spent about 2.5 hours including the report for naff all... Won't make that mistake again!!

That's ridiculous to deduct 2 points per mistake, but true about them being out of a job, lol)!

I recently got 8's for Tern reports as I used 'they' instead of 'he' or 'she' or a name when talking about MOS. The trouble is I'm so used to not using a gender term for other companies that I just didn't think about it. I was a bit disappointed to be honest as I worked hard on the reports and that's all that was marked down on them .

PPS. Looks like a dropped business phone call on RE in Yorkshire, and some kind of dropped car visit on GFK in Yorkshire too.

I'd go nuts about them complaining about the "obscene language" in the report, if the MOS hadn't used obscene language in the store it wouldn't have been in the stuffing report!!!

And yeah, diet totally out the window... Must start going to the gym... Doesn't help that the specified react coffee has enough espresso in it to wake the dead and I have to put two sugars in it to be able to drink it

No more greasy burgers this month I've decided, three is more than enough

Don't you love it when a plan comes together... Agreed to go to somewhere 40 miles away for one company tomorrow on the promise of it being a regular thing and now managed to pick up an assignment near to it from a different company with a huge mileage allowance. Petrol paid and a decent wage for a few hours work. Now if only every day could happen like that lol.
