Pillow indeed! Some of their pilows are just under the limit as I recall. Either that, or a fitted sheet or a pillowcase or something....
In a similar vein, I've just accepted an RE jeweller's visit. Any idea if there's anything even close to the reimbursement limit? I've been on their website, and 99% of the stuff is £40+...
i just accepted one of these! I don't know how i'm going to look like I can afford diamonds :P
they have jewllery cleaners for half the reimbursement or they have charms for just over: tho the 3 grand engagement ring seems good to me... now to find a husband!!

As someone said in reference to the posh bags recently (sorry to whoever it was. Just off to bed or would look the post up) customers come in all shapes and sizes and it's often the ones who look like they haven't got a pot to **** in who are rolling in it...
I've gone to premium garages in jeans and a t-shirt and been treat just as seriously as if I had turned up in a suit. Personally I hate suits with a passion so never really dress to impress, especially not to haggle over a car or do some shopping in town and call in the jewellers whilst I'm passing :-)0 -

I was the one worried about the posh bags but funnily enough have no qualms about being able to afford the diamonds. it was not so much being able to afford the bags but I think they are really ugly and I would never be seen dead with one - give me a diamond any time lol.
I know what you mean though. I had a look at the watches site and can't imagine what I would ever be able to buy for the reimbursement amount. I don't understand why they can't just pay it all as the fee and trust us to do the assignment because they can always verify it on CCTV.0 -
This really annoys me. The timeframe for this job is 28/06/10 - 06/08/10. Someone has taken it, sat on it and then handed it back when it is too late for any of us to be able to do it - very selfish!:mad::mad:
That happens loads on RE. Countless times I've logged onto RE and found expired jobs in places I'd been to in the timeframe. If I'd been offered them, I would have done them!
I mentioned that on the sruvey and said maybe they should have a system where the most reliable shoppers get offered work first. I know other companies have such systems. Here I go again on my own....0 -

I said the same thing on the survey. But to be honest I'm not so sure I would instantly pick up RE jobs for their paltry fees. I quite like the phonecalls after the hapless shopper has or hasn't completed the job; makes the work more lucrative for us reliables!

The "super-shoppers" client isn't their main invite-only client, but yes, you're right, they were the very first shoppers to be paid by BACS.
I know it's not their main client, at least not in "job value", but I've not done one of the "other" jobs yet, got to wait until October half-term to take my hubby and kids on our 2 week all-expenses-paid trip to Florida with them. SO EXCITED, can't wait!! Micky Mouse here we come!!!
I'd still say in volume of jobs, the Super Shopper client is by far their biggest though!!
And .. Oh my God ... did you just agree with me on something? :rotfl::rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I have built up a rapport with a couple of the allocators on RE and have been allocated jobs before they appear.
I've helped them out several times so they return the favour. So it is possible.0
