atos medicals

my advice to anyone having a dla medical or essa medical is take someone with you to witness what is said as i have just had the results of mine and i have gone from high rate mobility and lrc(all indefinite ) to nowt basically the dr has lied hes put i can dress myslef i can use a cooker i can walk over 100m omg im lucky to get to 30 b4 i am in agaony i crushfractuerd 2 discs l4 and l5 and a failed disc op so now they cannot operate again and im stuck in constant pain and now ill lose my care ive been getting im gobsmacked i asked for reassement because i need more help now not lose the lot and trying to get a staright answer of them is a nightmare but i have appealed straight away and have sent a recorded delivery letter asking for copies of my entire file as i have had this now for 16yrs so they know my condition do they not use any of the previous info or do they now just fail you and lie

    As was said on your earlier threads, the fact that you managed your own care during your long stay in prison has no doubt affected the outcome of your assessment.

    no that was a seperate issue which couldnt be resolved so i reapplied on my dr advice went for medical and just got the forms refusing both parts of dla the medical report was the opposite of everything that was said he basically said theres nothing wrong with me lol

    i have now lostt the care i was getting and my car sol now that means ill be completly housebound

    in prison, your food is cooked and provided for you, you barely have to leave your cell and your toilet is next to your bed.. its probsbly better than what home help can do lol :p

    (joking btw, im sure its a terrible place to be)

    no you are spot on it was 23 hours lay down whichwas good for my back as they recognised my disability unlike dwp

    yes i did i had help getting dressed
    i was put on the ground flooor
    i had some one help wash me from the knees downs
    constant painkillers and sleepers
