Need advice on 1and1 backdating an invoice for domain registry for three/four years!!

Thanks for the advice, but they have now offered to refund my invoice due to the oddity of failing to issue invoices for three years. Problem solved.

By law they have 6 years (statute of limitations) in order to bill you for services provided. You could always try the "unfair contract terms " route but IMO, you didnt contact them to cancel therefore they're entitled to bill you.You keep using that word.
