I'm going to try and open a cashminder and isa next week.
I was just wondering, can you set you standing orders online with the co-op? I get paid weekly so have to adjust the dates things go out monthly.

I've read some places the online banking is rubbish and other places that its brill.

**Update**
ok not hopefull of getting a co-op account. I went in today, he filled in the forms for the cashminder and put it on the computer, told him i had no ccj's but maybe a few defaults but was mid way through sorting debt out, Also told him i wanted to open an isa.

So after he types everything up, writes a code down and asks for id. I give him my provisional license, comments that i look different and goes off to photo copy it. I left the council tax bill on the desk, he may of glanced at it but never photocopied it. He said he wouldn't apply for the isa until the cashminder approval came back.
That was it, no signing of forms or anything.

Is this the co-op way or the sign of a big fat rejection letter winging its way to me?

Yes you can set up standing orders online pretty easy with the co-op, also they have the faster payment service.
Once the faster payment has been sent you can click on a link and it gives you a code; for instance a letter 'a' means it will be received by the other person within 2 hours.

The only thing to watch their balance isn't up to date, so make a note what you have spent, to be on the safe side.

    Hi

Your driving licence is all you need as this is a "strong" proof of address / ID. The code he will have written down will be the application tracking number. If it did not come back as accepted it ill have been either rejected or referred. If rejected he would have told you there and then. If referred this will take a day or two for the final decision to be processed. No forms need to be completed and no signatures are needed. Give the bank a call on MOnday afternoon / Tues morning and ask for an update.

I've just opened an account online and I haven't had to sign anything for them. It's all sorted and ready to go! As Tubbss said, if you were going to be rejected, chances are he would have been able to say there and then. There is always a chance that you could get a rejection but hang on in there!
