C'MON! Let's get this debt sorted!!0 -
And while there are a lot of lazy ports about, the super low cost of most PC games in shops (if you can find them) and the fun provided by the modding community makes up for it.
and you cant forget the steam sales
they can be hard on the wallet however i still have games i brought over Christmas that i have not been able to get around to playing yet (got about 80 games+expansions for under £150)Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
A lot depends on what sort of games you like as well. Personally I tned to prefer strategy type games and RTS games. Company of Heroes, Civilization, Total War, Command and Conquer etc. Those sort of games are either not available on consoles or are very poor cut down versions. So fro me it's PC Gaming all they way. It's my problem, it's my problem

Oh, I've got tonnes of games I need to get through. Not counting various console games I've got over the years (currently working through vagrant story on the PS1, then have 69 more games to go) I've got about 20 PC games to work through, all of which were purchased through GOG, Steam and various other sales. I started Trine, but my old PC made it very hard to play and it looked ugly.
Then there's all the classic point and click games.0 -
Try autdirect.co.uk, based in Shoeburyness, Essex.
i think they're now called R.Easy Buy It.
have used them in the past & they supply reasonably priced goods which you can customise to your own specs.0 -
easybuyit.
Autdirect is a name I have seen for years now in mags such as Micro Mart.
Advancetec another such company who have been around for years advertising in Micro Mart.
They are also are good, very fast service. Thinking if I go ahead with my experiment to build a PC I'll go with advancetec as they have some cheap deals if you fancy a very basic system to build and tinker with.0
