Hi. Id Factor Cheque Problem

I'm a member of rewarded opinions and I redeemed a £20 cheque from them, I'd forgotten that I had (no suprise there)
and when I it arrived in the post it was almost 8 months old from its issue date . I tried to put it in my account and It was accepted and then sent back later with a stamp on it from my bank saying account closed, or something similar, Stupid question does this mean id factor don't have a valid account anymore, or that the bank thought it was to late to accept it. Can't find the letter I recieved will have a rummage later, but what are my chances to get my £20 back?

I'm not sure if it has changed lately, I very much doubt it, but cheques at least used to be valid for only 6 months!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

If it says "Account Closed" you have two chances of getting the money, and both are "None" - Sorry.
Most banks reject cheques over 6 months old but there is no law on this, it is just policy - you have to push them to cash it, but then if the account is closed.................
Your best bet is to return it to ID factor and ask them to re issue it, I expect they have changed their banks which is why it bounced.Life is not all about money - we just believe so :hello:0 -
