Hi all i hope this is the right place for this
I have a 2001 renault clio 1.9 dti and this morning when i jumped in it the power steering would not work, my dh checked the fluid levels but everything was fine so we started the car again and it worked. We went into town parked the car and came back after about an hour and the same thing happened again but we drove the car anyway but then after about 5 mins the power steering came back, does anyone have any idea as to what the problem could be please, we are guessing its the power steering pump.
Thanks for any replies

Does it actually have a power steering pump? Can you find the reservoir?
It's about the time they went to "electronic" steering racks, which are dry.
Not 100%, just food for thought.;)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
